Hello, my name is Marie White. I am 22 years old and have owned many horses and ponies since the early age of three. I left school at the age of sixteen to go into full time employment as a groom at a local riding school. Whilst working as a trainee here I gained my BHS Stages 1 & 2 in Horse Care and Riding and also gained my BHS Riding and Road Safety Certificate. After three years working at here I then moved on and continued working full time as a groom in various types of yards, including Livery, Showjumping, Event, Hunting, Racing and Stud yards. I have experienced working with a wide range of horses and gained lots of experience over the years. After many years working for different employers I have now decided that I would like to persue my career working for myself as a Freelance Groom, providing a helpfull, professional service to all needing help or cover in the Nottinghamshire area and nearby.
I will try my very best to help everyone, whether you are struggling to fit your horses in with other commitments, going away on holiday, or mayby you just want a lie in! If you compete and struggle going to competitions on your own, I can accompany you to make your day less stressfull! I am also available for holiday/sickness cover and temporary help over those busy periods. You can even give me a call on the day if someone doesn't turn in for work, you may be lucky and catch me when I'm free.
I am experienced and capable of all general yard duties, grooming, tack cleaning, field management, lunging/exercising etc.
